Of course it depends on the amount of modification:

If your modifications are very small, you might not need to do any retexturing at all.

However if you are very picky or your modifications lead to distortions on the texture, you will need to check if the projection still works on the modified sculptie and then rebake the texture.

And if your modifications are significant you even will need to reproject your images on the new model (aka: retexturize from scratch).

Hello and thank you for your wonderful tutorials! What I am wondering is: if you apply all the textures as indicated in this tutorial, and then later you decide to slightly change the shape of the sculptie, do you have to go back and start over from scratch? If not, which steps need to be repeated?

Thanks again for providing such a valuable resource!

Wonderful tutorial - thanks so much!

I'm using Blender 2.492 with Python 2.6.2 & Primstar (recommended version as of today) and it looks as if things have changed a bit, for example when I get to "consolidate into one image" the option doesn't seem to exist. Is it just me (and I haven't installed everything as I should have) or have things really changed and I should wait until a new tutorial is out?

Many thanks!

Love your tutorials. I love them more when you put little screen shots in the text, so we can see, when reading it, where to:

'...create a new UV-layer, by clicking on

“UV-texture -> new”.'

Either way you do it, I am thankful you share and teach. You're great!
