Hi,
Here is a simple model of a sculpted fork. It is not meant as a finished model but as a starting point for your refinements. I have made it out of an 8*8 sculptmap. So it is LOD0 resistant. You can add 2 levels of Multires or use subsurf on it. that will generate a default sculptmap of 32*32 faces. So there is plenty of room for your refinements to the model. And now it is your turn… No idea what i am talking about ? No problem. Go and watch the tutorials. At the end it becomes easy.
Note: The link points to a blend file. So you will need either standard blender or the Jass-distribution to open it for examination.
Have fun

Hello Gaia!
Thank you very much for your tutorials and all the work you do. I learned most of what I know with you!
Now I do tutorials too in french and some of them are based on yours.
I wanted to make some suggestions for the model you provide us:
– the sculpt map of the fork is 16×16 and will remain this size even though you increase the multirez or the subsurf modifier. It will result in heavy distortions when imported in SL.
The sculpt map size will have to be edited in the image editor: view/image properties, “generated” enabled and increase the size to 64×64.
Or when creating a sculpt, you choose a 8×8 faces sculpt with 2 levels of subdivision and you delete the higher multires or subsurf levels.
– I noticed the normals were pointing inside the object. In SL, “inside-out” has to be checked to revert them outside.
It can be done in blender by pressing “s -1″ in edit mode, all vertices selected.
Thank you again for your work.
Bye bye!
