Meshes II

The tutorial shows in easy steps, how to upload a Collada-1.4 file to Second Life. This part is independent from blender. The only prerequisite is to have a Collada-1.4 file ready to use. Note that you are obliged to take care about license policies. Your best choice is to only upload your own creative artwork to Second Life!

  • ….to those who don’t get the ‘Model’ menu available, you have to be in a mesh enabled sim to get that option. Most sims is by now default mesh enabled but some may not, be aware of that. Best of luck to you all :)

Hi Gaia, thanks for the tutorials are fantastic. Everything went well, but in the SL viewer does not appear “mesh” in the download options. I have the latest version of SL viewer. I can do to bring this option?

Very interesting :3 I’m trying to get up to speed with Blender still, been using it for a while but really can’t tell how well I’m progressing till I can actually get hold of the client. (So hoping that everythings still good for tommrow!)

Thanks for the vids, very usefull especialy for us who don’t want to dig through the bits in blender that arent necceserily of much use for SL use! (Though I try to learn what I can of it too, sometimes you just want to get to the meat of the matter :D )
