I’m having the same issue as Dorian. I can’t get the cylinder to be LOD invariant after creasing it. Any tips or hints on how to fix that?
oh, my cylinder isn’t LOD invariant, in fact it’s quite invariant and I don’t get the faces on the sides like you do for some reason. I’ll keep working with it to see what I’m doing differently
Another great tutorial. Thank you Gaia! (pssst, love the old porn music as well lol)
Thanks for the prompt reply!
I’m looking forward to future tutorials! The primstar looks promising to prim idiots like myself, so I can’t wait! :3
More power to you guys. \(^o^)/
We are currently reworking all the videos to show the primstar user interface. But that takes some time. But the principles we are showing do work for all versions of primstar. This tutorial uses the standard settings of primstar (8 x faces, 8 y-faces, 2 subdivision levels) so just select “Cylinder” from the set of available sculptie-shapes and go ahead.
and have fun
Gaia
oh wow… (o-o) This is using primstar? I’m a newbie in sculpties (never been the technical sort of girl). I’m going through some of the older tutorials and texturing and I was wondering if those would still work on primstar.
