This video is a slightly enhanced derivative of our contribution to the 48h filmproject, which has taken place in secondlife on january 2008 (i mainly remixed the sound and corrected some technical details here. The film in its essence has not been changed).
The judges have spoken. We have been participating in this years 48hour film project machinima contest. Our contribution to this years 48hour film project was “In Memoriam”.
Finally i managed to publish our last year’s contribution to the 48hour film contest. Here is “Bobbie’s wedding cake”. Special thanks go to Barbara Gescher (our musician this time) who was so kind to help us improving the sound track for this director’s cut version. And thanks again also to all other participants.
We have been participating in this years 48hour film project machinima contest. 21 teams have been competing with creating an entire machinima film within 48 hours. Our contribution this year was the film “The Shadows”. Our task was to create a Horror film featuring a journalist “Jack Schmidt”. It was necessary to use the prop “water” and the following line of dialog has been given : “There is one thing i can do that you can’t”. We started with making a horror film but we ended with making a “Horror comedy”. Things evolved somewhat unexpectedly during the shooting. Enjoy…
I meanwhile finished the final editing of our testrun data from last week. It took me about 8 hours to choose the music, create the lipsynching, add voice to the parcel deliverer and of course the whole editing and post processing. pheww… it was hard, but again it was more fun than work.
