The Primstar

Infotainment at its best. This is a short film about a builder who receives the order to create a five pointed star. Unfortunately she has not the slightest idea how to manage this built in the given time. So she activates her strongest weapon against lack of knowledge (again) …

Please note, that this video contains embedded knowledge. Any accidental perception is on your own risk! Have fun.

Just came upon this, wish it was sooner. Love it, this is what I am love to do, make animations from video games myself, this film is excellent. Need a hand making the next? I’d love to be involved. Give’s knowledge, humour, and entertainment all in one. Great job everyone ! Well, off to make a 5 point star in my Primstar 🙂

To start with this is a wonderful movie…. of course I tried to copy the primstar too, but baking it to a new image is where I got really stuck. No matter what I do, I can not get blender to bake to the new image I created. What am I doing wrong?

You need to go to edit mode, select all your vertices and then assign your image to the sculptie by either selecting the image from the image stack or creating a new image. Then you can bake. Note however that you need to bake to an image of size 64*64 pixels. Otherwise some viewers (for example Phoenix) can not display the sculptie correctly in Second Life.
